April 7 & 8, 2023, The Missouri Theater (COLUMBIA, MO) 

The annual spring performance will continue the 17th season for Mareck Center for Dance, formerly Missouri Contemporary Ballet and home of the professional company, Mareck Dance. ‘LIVE’. Presented by the University Concert Series, ‘LIVE’ is an audience favorite, featuring both live dance and live music.

‘LIVE’ utilizes music from local artists including original works by Ruth Acuff, Kristopher Estes-Brown, Travis McFarlane, Michael Del Rosario and Tom Andes. There are five pieces including three world premieres with choreography from our resident choreographer/composer, Kristopher Estes-Brown, Autumn Eckman, Helen Hatch and our Artistic/Executive Director, Karen Mareck Grundy.

Mareck Dance’s performance of ‘LIVE’ is on April 7th & 8th, 7:00 pm at the Missouri Theatre. Student discounts can be accessed by visiting the Missouri Theatre Box Office on 9th Street.
